I was speaking with a friend and she was asking me about getting into investing. I may have gotten overly exciting, bombarding her with information before realizing I was “speaking German” to her with “lingo”. However the one thing I wanted to encourage her to do was start small and build confidence with knowledge.
There is definitely a difference in habits between socioeconomic classes. If there is just one thing I can say with confidence, it is that investing is one of the top priorities for the “rich class” (even before expenses, yes, it is true).
Start investing in yourself, start investing in your future. If you’re already on track or at the finish line, great! Perhaps the next goal can be generational wealth, this might be a whole new concept where you can help look after not only your children, but your children’s children. If that’s not your motivation, fill in the blank for what you can continue to strive for.
