Have you heard about the twelve frogs sitting on a log?
Twelve decide to jump into the pond.
How many frogs remain?
All twelve. Because deciding to jump is not the same as jumping.
This is the difference between intending to improve your health and taking consistent action to do it. You can know exactly what to do—but unless you follow through, nothing changes.
This week’s focus is about closing the gap between decision and execution.
This Week’s Focus: From Decision to Action
1. Know the Difference:
Deciding to change your habits is a good first step, but it’s not the same as doing the work. Your body, health, energy, and confidence respond to action—not intention.
2. Call Yourself Out:
Be honest—what have you told yourself you were going to do that you still haven’t followed through on? Whether it’s nutrition, sleep, hydration, or movement, identify where the gap is.
3. Make the Leap:
Pick one task you’ve been postponing and take action on it today. Don’t wait for motivation. Build momentum with small, consistent steps. You’ll build more confidence in execution than in planning.
